A few weeks after winning the British Juggling Convention Fight Night, Matty Schneider failed to follow up at the Brianza Juggling Convention in Italy. He came second to Ian Deady, who won his first Fight Night since January 2013.

The National 425 level tournament in Brianza had 19 participants, with eight jugglers going through to the knockout finals. Matty's second place points boosts him up to seventh in the 52 Week Current Rankings and into first place in the 2017 Race Rankings.

In the UK, Brook Roberts won the Lestival Fight Night for the second year in a row. His 250 points haul doesn't help him in the current rankings, as they just replace the points from last year, but he's now up to third in the 2017 Race Rankings. Will Borrell came second in Leicester, with Callum Lawrie third and Ieuan Evans fourth.

Finally, California experienced its first Fight Night at the Manipulation Festival 2017. Kyle Johnson caught the Fight Night bug after taking part in one at the New Zealand Circus Festival, so organised this tournament back home in America. He also won the tournament, being the last juggler standing after four rounds of combat featuring 17 jugglers from America, Canada, Japan and Malaysia. In the final Kyle beat Yuki Ueda five points to zero.
