The British Juggling Convention hosted the first of the four major tournaments of 2016, with 750 points available to the winner. 26 jugglers took part in the qualifications, and the top 16 made it through to the knockout. Brook Roberts won all his qualification matches and was seeded first. Luke Burrage lost to Brook in their qualification match and was seeded second.
Both top seeded players made it to the final match. You can see that match here:
Brook's result bumps him up one place in the current 52 rankings to fourth, which matches his personal highest position. Luke remains at number one. They also both now top the 2016 race rankings.
Jon Peat was seeded fifth, but bettered his qualification result by beating fourth seed Ian Deady in their round of 8 match. Jon lost to Luke in his semi-final before narrowly defeating third seed Danny Cooper 5-4 in their third place match.
